Edible Beauty No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Tonique Review (and a discount!)

Edible Beauty 09.jpg

I've mentioned my love of facial mists before, and the No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique from Edible Beauty is an absolute dream.

A toner or facial mist is another important step in your skincare ritual, delivering hydration and added antioxidants to the skin. Toners are available in a few different kinds - some are astringents that will tighten the pores, some are designed to balance the pH of the skin and others are more hydrating and nourishing to the skin.

I prefer the hydrating kind, as it is more gentle on skin, and can be used any time I feel I need that extra boost, on either bare skin or over make-up. Toners are used after cleansing, and before moisturising. Damp skin absorbs your facial oils and serums more readily, and deeply into the skin, so spritzing with a facial mist prior to application will mean you need to use less of your other skincare, and it will also be more effective.

Edible Beauty is an Australian skincare brand based on the philosophy that what you put on your skin should be good enough to eat. Edible Beauty products contain only the highest grade plant-based ingredients, both certified organic and from wildcrafted sources. I recently reviewed the Edible Beauty Coco Bliss Intensive Repair, and the Desert Lime Flawless Micro-Exfoliant. I've been using this trio together for a few weeks, and they have quite transformed my skin. Edible Beauty prove that organic products can be both luxurious and effective, and you don't need to sacrifice your health in order to see results. You can read more about this wonderful brand here.

Edible Beauty No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique

The No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique is a beautifully light mist that floats lightly over the skin, delivering hydration and balancing the skin. May Chang acts to remove excess oil from the skin, whilst Calendula soothes surface irritations and calms unhappy skin.

I use this in the evening after cleansing, and in the morning on bare skin to refresh the complexion. If I'm bare-faced for the day, I'll use it whenever my skin feels in need of hydration, but it also gives it a gorgeous dewy finish.

I've also been using this to set my make-up (it works wonderfully), or to refresh throughout the day. I was actually quite surprised how hydrating this is, and also how plump my skin feels with regular use. Some facial mists feel a little like unnecessary fluff, but the No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique is going to be firmly cemented in my routine.

The No.2 Citrus Rhapsody Radiance Tonique is part of Edible Beauty's Core Four, which is also available as a set and also in a travel set (which would also make a great sample or gift set!).
