RMS Beauty Demure Lip2Cheek Review

A cult favourite amongst beauty lovers, models and make-up artists — RMS Beauty is one of my favourite organic make-up brands.

RMS Beauty make-up does double-duty as skincare, and when my skin is acting up, wearing RMS make-up actually helps it heal faster, due to the purity and quality of the ingredients. Cocoa seed butter, coconut oil, beeswax and shea butter work to nourish your skin, all whilst delivering high-performance, highly pigmented, beautiful make-up.

There are many different formulas you can choose from when it comes to blush, but creams would have to be my product of choice. They give a beautiful, dewy finish, and can be paired with powders, liquids or creams. Another thing I love about cream products, whether or not they've been designed to do so, is that you can wear them in place of a lipstick, instantly and effortlessly pulling your entire look together.

You can also blend creams with other shades to create your own, fully customisable colour.

Colour and Formula

The RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Demure is a pretty, blue-based rosy pink shade. This colour works many on different skin tones, from very fair, to more golden, tanned complexions.

I love a fresh, natural flush of colour and this is my go-to everyday shade.

It appears more of a rosy, slightly cool baby pink on the skin. On the lips it’s quite a cool-toned, mod pink.

I personally don't wear this shade alone as a lip colour, as it is too light and cool for my taste, however, it looks lovely layered beneath the RMS Beauty Lip Shine in Sacred, or any other lip product.

The Lip2Cheek is quite pigmented, but as always with lighter colours, it isn't as noticeable as with the darker shades. As a product designed for both cheek and lip application, it is quite creamy - but not overly so. If I were wearing this on my lips, I'd apply a balm over the top for added moisture (that said, my lips are always dry. I need to carry lip balm with me everywhere)

You can simply apply the RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek with your fingertips, or a brush. I use both application methods, depending on my overall look or how much of a hurry I'm in.

If I want to touch-up, or add just a touch more colour, I'll always use my fingers, as I'm less likely to overdo it. Otherwise, for my day-to-day routine, I use a blush brush to apply to the apples of my cheeks - right from the pot.

Finish and Wear-time

As aforementioned, whether you're wearing it with powders, creams or liquids, this blush gives a beautiful, radiant, dewy finish. On the lips it is an almost matte finish, but with enough gloss to not look dry.

I always apply my powder immediately after I've applied my foundation, and then blush over the top. The reason for this is so that I don't detract from the dewiness of the blush, but I've also found it gives me longer lasting colour. I can wear this all day (8hrs+) without the colour diminishing - unless I've touched-up with a tinted powder during the day. That said, all

RMS Beauty products are so compact they easily fit inside your handbag.

RMS Beauty's Lip2Cheek in Demure is my go-to shade and a staple in my make-up bag. I plan on getting my hands on a few more shades as these really are just versatile little colours!

You can purchase RMS Beauty from Mecca in Australia, or I usually purchase mine from Beautylish in the USA.
